Manufacturing has been one of our core functions since the 3 founders started in 1979. It remains fundamental to HydroChem’s operation – directly and indirectly employing approx. 10% of our workforce.
HydroChem’s manufacturing is based at our 8,000sqm advanced manufacturing and storage facility in Melbourne:
- Laboratory with 8 industrial chemists
- Training centre
- Self driving AGV forklift
- Chemical blending utlising robot arm to keep workers safe from dangerous goods
- Automated filling and packing to keep workers safe from chemicals and manual handling
HydroChem is responsible for its own quality of manufacture with all manufacturing following the QA procedures via its own laboratory.
