We’re proud to announce that the HydroChem team picked up Crown’s 2015 Environmental Sustainability award.

HydroChem received the award in acknowledgement of the cooling tower system filtration project that was implemented across all of Crown Melbourne’s cooling tower systems in 2014.

HydroChem implemented its VAF water filtration technology to reduce water loss, chemical usage and contracted cleaning hours by 30% across all cooling systems. The filtration technology also improved the water treatment program’s effectiveness, optimising the cooling systems’ efficiency.

Crown has achieved significant improvements in water conservation and the sustainability of the maintenance, operation and life-cycle management of their cooling system assets to meet their goals of environmental sustainability.
